DONORS NEEDED!
The project is 97% complete. Gary & Michelle were moved in Christmas Eve
due to a massive effort by Sidney, his team and lots of volunteers.
We have one more major work party planned for the spring to complete the decks and yard work.
As with any venture of this magnitude not everything can be donated
and we have some costs that we need to pay off. Your financial support would be greatly appreciated.

The Gary and Michelle Boivin Project
Love Lethbridge is a group of community minded people who seek to assist members of the community who are in need. Here is our current project:
Around 1992 Gary Boivin's wife Suzanne was diagnosed with brain cancer and around the same time, Gary began having problems with the circulation in his legs. Suzanne's cancer went into remission in 1994, and their daughter Michelle was born in 1995. In 1996 the cancer returned, and at the same time Gary was told he had an infection in his leg. While both were hospitalized, Suzanne was informed her cancer was terminal, and Gary was told he had a form of flesh-eating disease and neither were likely to live the week. Gary cried out to God, saying that one of them needed to live to look after Michelle. In the end, Gary lost his left leg and suffered damage to the right leg, putting him in a wheelchair. Suzanne was offered experimental treatments which required her to travel back and forth from Ontario several times a year. She was able to maintain this until 2005, when she could no longer handle the travel, She remained in Ontario until she passed away in 2007. Gary was left as Michelle's primary caregiver.
These circumstances made it harder and harder for Gary to maintain their home. Gary was distracted by his health issues, caring for his dying wife, and financial issues. Ultimately, the roof started to cave in on their house, moisture made it's way in, and the roof finally deteriorated to the point where it was beyond the ability to repair.
We have demolished the old home, and have a new home built by Duratech on the site now. We have defrayed the last of the expenses on the mortgage so that the new house has a free and clear title for Gary and Michelle. We have also spoken to legal counsel to ensure that with our incestment comes the assurance that the home will remain a home for Gary and Michelle in perpetuity.
Thank you in advance for your interest on this project. If you choose to donate through the site, please specify in PayPal where it says "send message to seller" that this donation is for the Boivin house, and we will see that the funds are used appropriately.
