P.I.N. Bank
The P.I.N. Bank is the work horse of the Mission. Acting as the closet for the street population it provides, free of charge, the things that people require for basic survival, employment or setting up a new household.
The P.I.N. (People In Need) Bank was started because there was a need to offer access to clothing and houselhold goods to people that other agencies struggles to service and without charging them for the items.

People living on the street have no place for a second set of clothes or a place to do laundry. The P.I.N. Bank acts as a closet for these people. The result is that once a week (more often in bad weather) they are able to come and get clean clothes in exchange for the clothes they are wearing. Those clothes are laundered and r e-enter the bank.
The warm clothing, clean under wear, dry socks all work together to bring dignity when all seem lost.
Food hampers are made available to those who have access to no other services. They are an emergency measure only.
Donations of clothing, household goods and food stuffs are greatly appreciated. All donations can be delivered to 323-4th Street S. between 10:00am and 4:30pm Monday to Friday.
